About Us

The Messy Mommy Service 

is a Limited Liability Company (LLC) which proudly provides cleaning services for Southeast Georgia in Glynn & surrounding counties! 

 

The Messy Mommy Service (LLC) is a unique concept inspired by God and carefully crafted in the mind and heart of Shawntay A. Seals.

 

For several years Shawntay believed that entrepreneurship was calling her but she felt that she did not truly have the time to focus on running a business.  She was right!  Trying to run a business in addition to raising five children, writing books & illustrating books, serving in her church, volunteering in her community, attending college full-time, and working Monday-Friday building someone else's business would have been overwhelming.  After realizing that she could do anything she set her mind to once she stopped relying on her own strength,  Shawntay made the decision to work full-time at building her business.

 

After much prayer and research, The Messy Mommy Service was born!  The name of the company comes from Shawntay's book, "Messy Mommy."  The book is about being a woman, being a mother, and needing a savior because, in spite of everything else that women/mothers have to be, they are human.  The book highlights the blessing in being cleansed from "the inside out."  That belief in total cleansing is the reason this company offers much more than one might expect.

It is true that The Messy Mommy Service (LLC) uses some of the same cleaning products that other companies use.  We also offer some of the same cleaning services that other companies offer.  The difference lies in our motivation.  Many other "for profit" companies focus primarily on "profit."  Our company's motivation is honoring God through our service to others.  On a daily basis, we make a conscious effort to set our priorities as God, Family, Service, Education, and Profit (in that exact order).  We believe that when we pursue our priorities in this order, all things work out for the good, and the work of our hands will be blessed.

 

We also believe that a person's home is their private and sacred space, this is why our team members go through a rigorous selection process which includes background and reference checks.  To help make our customers even more comfortable, our appointment reminder emails contain photos and short bios of the cleaning team scheduled to provide their service.

Because we are dedicated to serving, to our clients we offer discounts, monthly specials, and the "Help A Mommy Out" program which awards a free cleaning and a special gift to one deserving single mother every month! To our team members, we offer fun incentives, paid training, and special programs.  We know that happy employees will produce results that our clients will be pleased with so we include them on the receiving side of "service."
